Dear 9/11 Victim Fund folk,
Just a note to say, will you PLEASE stop discrimination of all kinds. One family (the family of man) means just that.
Love is love and it makes no difference who's loving whom or how. What matters is that everyone chooses for themselves what is most appropriate for them in loving and no one should be discriminated against because of their choices.
No one.
Not black, white, green, red, straight, gay, disabled, short, tall or striped.
One nation under God.
As Mahatma Gandhi said: "God has no religion." God doesn't discriminate against any of His children.
I am extremely dismayed to hear that the gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual spouses.
Must we continue with all this pettiness! Fair is fair!
I protest this decision!
