If illegal aliens can recieve benefits, then so can the legal residents of this country, including gay or lesbian citizens. Don't forget that one of the heros of that downed plane in PA was &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp , a gay man. If it weren't for him, that plane may have smashed into the US Congress. There was also the &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp who died while giving last rites at the World Trade Center site. He was known and loved by many. And these are only two of the many courageous gay folks that I know about -- I'm sure there are many more. Please remind me that we live in the land of the free and extend benefits to everyone who rightly deserves it. Give the gay and lesbian families of the victims the same help as everyone else.
