Comments on Proposed Law



Dear Sirs,



In response to your notice of Inquiry and Advance Notice of Rulemaking.
The following are my comments;

1. 'The personal representative of a deceased individual' should include
direct next of kin but not exclusively so, and should also include direct
family representatives of a victim.

2. Procedures should include and facilitate claims made from representatives
of victims who are abroad.

3. Compensation should not be limited to a one-off payment but include an
income per set period.

4. Representatives who have low or very little income such as pensioners
(aged 60 years or over) or dependents should be given extra consideration.
