include gays and lesbians
I am writing to express my hope that the partners and gays and lesbians
killed in the attacks of September 11th receive the same benefits as
married couples. Partners of gays and lesbians feel the same grief and
hardship as hetereosexual couples and should be entitled to the same
rights. The tragedy did not discriminate. In its aftermath, our
government should not either.
