Gay Victims and the Sept. 11 Fund


Dear Mr. Feinberg,

I am writing to express my concerns regarding recent statements that you made on "Meet the Press" regarding the status of gay
men and women victims of the Sept. 11 attack and the participation of their families and partners in the compensation fund.

It is simply outrageous that you have taken a stance that basically denies any benefits to the partners and families of gay victims.
While illegal alliens will share in compensation, gay men and women are denied that opportunity. You have given in to prejudice
and bias.

I urge you to reconsider your decision and allow the families and partners of gay victims to fully participate in the Sept. 11 fund.
