I am writing to appeal to you to please consider carefully the needs of those in non-traditional relationships such as same sex unions either as holy unions, legal civil unions in some states and life partnered people of the same gender. Many of these relationships can be confirmed using resources of the denomination or of the local MCC churches and I am asking you make this consideration because I know many such relationships that are no less loving and beneficial to our communities and our nation as the more traditional ones you might think of.
