I am asking that you and your department draft regulations that will treat ALL victims of this attack with fairness and honesty, including domestic partners and the non-biological children of these gay and lesbian couples. Please help send a message to those that would seek to further separate and divide us as a nation and a free people that we are a great nation because of our diversity not in spite of it.
