i recently read an article on about.com about the september 11 fund and how
the money is being distributed. i am wondering how it is impossible to give
money to a gay or lesbian spouse left behind while their partner went on to
be a hero, yet it is possible to give money to illegal aliens who are not
even citizens of this country. i find this kind of hypocrisy appalling. i
understand laws cannot be bent, but they clearly are in one case and not the
other.
