That is the tragedy of denying the gay and lesbian partners of Sept. 11 their just compensation. If September 11 taught us anything it taught us that we need to start looking for our similarities and stop looking at our differences. Gays and lesbians deserve AT LEAST the same compensation that illegal immigrants and potential lives are getting. By not providing equal treatment you are dividing America further in its time of supposed "healing".
