Sept. 11 relief

To whom it may concern:

As an American, I feel strongly that all individuals who died and
their families deserve equitable support from our country. Our
highest ideals are "Liberty and Justice for all" In this crisis all
Americans have stepped forward to help others. We must stand to our
highest ideals in this time of national crisis and compensate
families of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people in the
same manner we would others. We have many models for how this can be
done with same sex partner insurance present in many progressive
companies today. In addition we must support the families of
undocumented immigrants in the same way. Our economy has benefited
from their contribution and their families will feel the loss of
their presence.

In the plan that was crashed in Pennsylvania by courageous Americans
seeking to protect the capital, it was even a gay man that was
involved in overtaking the hijackers.

As an American who believes in our ideals, I urge all of you involved
with this compensation effort to remember the core values that make
our country what it is.

Respectfully,

Individual Comment
