Dear Director Zwick,

Now is the time for the correct action. Action taken here will be precedent setting. Gay and Lesbian couples are partners, economically, socially and they depend upon one another just as heterosexual couples do. It is very important that we protect the rights of these people. Because they are a minority representation, careful thought must be taken to have a consciousness about their experience. If a careless and thoughtless majority determines their (homosexes) fate in terms of their (heterosexes) personal preference for mates, this will be a grave failure of democracy. Freedom does not equal majority rule.

Please make the right decision, without unneccesary fanfare, and give gays and lesbians the same rights you give others or yourself. Walk rightiously and good will come of this. I really believe this.
