Why don't the families of gay and lesbian victims count?
I cannot help but be saddened by the thought that our divisions in
America are slowly yet surely returning. We are no longer just
"Americans," sharing our grief and our love of country. We have again
become just gay or lesbian Americans who, unfortunately, are easy
political targets of those empowered. The unity was a great time, but
it's time to go back to sleep....
