Tuesday, November 13, 2001 5:48 PM Comments from the Pentagon Families If the fund distribution is going to be made on an equal basis, then why does it look as if there will be deductions for some families that may have the good fortune or better planning to have insurance coverages. After all, we paid the premiums out of our pocket or paycheck so it is not as if someone or some agency gave us something. I do not object to insuring every family is provided for and in some cases, perhaps a little more for those that are just starting out or in economic hardship over losing their primary income. I do object to applying some social scale or degree of need. Therefore, I hope this fund is distributed with economic justice and not try to make it another social justice program. That only hurts everyone in the long run.
