Wednesday, March 13, 2002 8:41 AM gay partners It's a terrible nightmare, this September 11th tragedy.   So many people involved in suffering because the acts of a few.  It's a double tragedy that same-sex partners have to face while being discriminated against by their own country!  If we can't find a ray of hope in our own "family" (America), where can we find it?  Why do you choose to force the loved ones of gay victims to suffer again.  The tragedy will live with them their entire lives as it is, why would you choose to discriminate against them as well?  How can you honestly justify that treatment?  Is it laziness on your part?   Not willing to go to the trouble of finding out who these people are?   What does that say about you?  Their partners were allow to be killed under the same circumstances as those who were heterosexual.   Please stop being so insulting, so mean-spirited!   Allow all Americans to stand on equal ground.   Please help those gay loved ones be comforted a little too!
