Congratulations. You have just victimized those partners a second time. It is even more disturbing that benefits are being afforded to illegal immigrants, but to gay and lesbian partners. The immigrants are not Americans and are breaking the law! What a message you are sending to gay and lesbian Americans: that they are not even as worthy of the support of their country as non-citizens who are committing an illegal act.
