Dear 9/11 Victims Fund,

I was very shocked and then saddened to hear that Kenneth Feinberg, the Fund
administrator, recently said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that gay and lesbian
victims would not be eligible to receive compensation.

If this is indeed true, I can only pray that this decision is reversed. The
loss of these victims is just as great and tragic as any other victim. How
could such a mean-spirited and intolerant decision as this, be made?

Please say it isn't so.
