Extremely Disappointed
Dear Director of the Victims Compensation Fund:
I was greatly disturbed to learn that you are that are not extending the same benefites to gay and lesbian partners who died on September 11 that you are extending to heterosexual spouses. WHY? How is their love any different? How is their pain any less? If anything, their pain has only been exacerbated by organizations that discriminate at one of the most painful times of their lives.
