Dear Mr. Zwick:

I recently read that the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund will not
provide funds to gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September
11th in the same way as heterosexual spouses. I urge you to reconsider this
decision. This kind of discrimination is un-American and reinforces the
kind of discriminatory thinking and inhuman belief which leads to acts such
as the September 11th terrorism.

The loved ones of those who died on September 11th deserve support,
regardless of their sexual orientation. Please reconsider your decision.
