Tuesday, January 29, 2002 2:29 PM victims so called right to compensation I am in total shock at the actions of these people squabbling with each other and wallowing in their own greed at the first smell of government money. They have finally overshadowed any place they had in the hearts of fellow citizens by their willingness to turn mercenary at the first sign of compassion. Their "hurt" equals "money", and they'll gladly sue well meaning people to get it. I am also shocked at the percentage of Americans that equate suffering from ANY cause with immediate compense by the "Government". The Government is you, me, and everyone else that is a citizen, and fellow citizen, that is not what Government is about. What have we become? Why will Americans not accept responsibility for their lives ? These people have suffered, but in fact they were only at work that one day, just like millions of people in this country.
