RE: World Trade Center Disaster

Dear Honorable Representatives:

This office represents one of the victims of United Flight 93.

I note that regulations were published by Special Master Feinberg and the Department of Justice with regard to compensating victims of the World Trade Center disaster. I believe that the regulations are totally inadequate in that they place arbitrary limits on both economic and non-economic loss. Additionally, they establish predetermined, presumptive guidelines that will be utilized to make awards. In essence this means that the award has been predetermined without listening to any evidence whatsoever. I ask that you contact Kenneth L. Zwick, Director of the Office of Management Programs, Civil Division, at the United States Department of Justice and express your dissatisfaction with these regulations.

Thank you for your courtesy and cooperation

Very truly yours,
