Dear Department of Justice:

Since our government has decreed that the millions of dollars that have been donated for this purpose is not enough, and has established the "September 11 Victim Compensation Fund" the purpose of which is to provide assistance to persons who were injured as a result of the attacks and to compensate the relatives of those who were killed. I have one comment to make:
If you are going to use the tax dollars of gays and lesbians in this way, you MUST include our families! Excluding our families is immoral and unjust.

We have relationships just as deep and lasting as straight relationships and we raise children that, in many cases, no one else wants if we can't have our own. Yet our government continues to deny us the basic right to marry and now it seems that it may also deny us the benefits of our own tax contributions.
