Benefits for Gays and Lesbians
I have heard that gays and lesbians who were victims of 9/11 are not receiving benefits when straight people who were victims are. I would like to express my outrage at this injustice. A persons sexual orientation has nothing to do with his/her need for support or help, and also has nothing to do with the amount of suffering he/she may have experienced as a result of the tragic events of 9/11. Gays and lesbians should receive the same assistance that straight people receive.
