Dear Mr. Feinberg

I am writing to urge you to ensure fair treatment for all surviving families of the tragedy on Sept. 11,
including the children and families of low-wage workers and gay and lesbian families.

Please set a high minimum compensation level for all families of victims, instead of following traditional
lost wage rules. It would be horribly unfair for families of low wage workers who were already
struggling financially to watch most of the tax payer money to go to families of wealthier workers. The
Red Cross & the State of New York have announced that they will not discriminate against gay &
lesbian families. Please do the same.
