compensation comment...


Dear Mr. Kenneth Zwick,

I am concerned by the attitude of the US Government and the victims of the
9/11 attacks. Additionally, I would like to protest the fact that my tax
dollars are being spent in this manner. As terrible as the loss was for the
families of the victims, they are not ?entitled? to money from the US
taxpayers. I agree they should be helped in their time of need. That is
exactly the reason I have given money to charities and blood to the Red
Cross. However, I do not believe it is ?deserved? as many outspoken
representative claim. Nor do I believe I should be forced, de facto, to
give more of my money. It is simply contrary to what this country stands
for?individual responsibility.
