Recognize gay partners

Dear Sir or Madam,

I certainly hope that what I read today was incorrect, that partners of gay
and lesbians killed 9/11 will be treated differently that those of married
couples. These people were no less in love or in need of their other half,
and should be recognized the same way any other half would be in these
circumstances.

I hope that the help to victims in this tragedy will not be swayed by some
people's personal politics or religion (considering that's what created this
tragedy in the first place) and America will show that it is a land of
people for the people.
