Public Comment on Victims Fund
Funds should be disbursed directly to victims, in amounts determined to be
appropriate by an independent review panel.
Funds should not be disbursed directly to victims' lawyers
Applications for compensation should be provided on-line, be as simple as
possible, and provide for assistance from DOJ in completing the
applications.
Appeals should be allowed based upon circumstances provided in writing to a
special appeals panel.
