I do not understand. When I donated money to that fund I understood it would help ALL persons who were affected by the terrorist attacks of that date. Now I am being told that , a person recognized as a hero from September 11, 2001 and forward, is now being denied rights and benefits to his family because he was GAY?????????? Oh yes, let's give the money to the illegal aliens. They break US laws and laws of the states but they get money from the fund. But an American citizen who very possibly saved the lives of our lawmakers is DENIED benefits to his family because he was gay. Something is horribly warped here. Something is very wrong. was a hero. I would like nothing more than for my grandchildren to grow up to be JUST LIKE HIM! Gay or not, who cares???? When people donated to the 9/11 Fund we were told it would assist ALL families of ALL victims. Now you are telling us that it is not true. You have LIED to the American people and taken money under false pretenses. I believe you have committed a crime. did not commit a crime - he saved lives. My son is serving in the National Guard at the moment, he and his young family are having a difficult time making ends meet as a result of this terrorist attack. But he is my personal hero. A young man who looks at those who died, and those who tried to save lives and he knows he can do nothing but serve. I hope his infant son grows up to be just like him and just like and and and the other heroes whose names escape me at the moment. I hope he does not grow up to be bigoted, homophobic and unAmerican as the persons who operate this fund. Please return my donation.
