Gay or straight, both have suffered the loss of a loved one(s) at the hands of diabolical people. An outpouring of generosity and love are desperately needed. The money that was given to the fund was given from the heart of our people and they didn't want their meaningful contributions to be hampered by bureaucratic nonsense. I know that you would not want to harm or cause any more pain to those directly affected by the 9/11 Attack. So, do the right thing. Behave as humanely as a person should in a situation such as this. Be fair. Rise above the politics. Pay the victims equally, as the givers had intended and let God decide the rest.
