gay and lesbian partner eligibility



To whom it may concern:

I read through the final rules, but was unable to discern from them whether
or not it was decided to let gay/lesbian partners receive benefits from the
9/11 Fund. In any case, please accept this email as a voice of concern over
the issue. Gay and lesbian households deserve the same rights as
heterosexual ones. Please do not discriminate against them during your
attempt to provide some comfort and relief to the victims of our national
tragedy. To do so would cast a shadow over the light you are attempting to
spread.
