Stop Benefit discrimination

To: Kenneth L. Zwick, Director
Office of Management Programs
Civil Division
U.S. Department of Justice
Main Building, Room 3140
950 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, DC 20530

Dear Mr. Zwick,

Re: Stop benefit discrimination from the September 11 Victim Compensation
Fund

I believe that discrimination is un-American.

I find it unbelievable that the families and partners of some of the women
and men who were held up as heroines and heros of the September 11 tragedy
are being denied benefits from the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund, as
those heroines and heroes have been discovered to have been lesbian or gay.

These partners, or when there is no partner, the family, of these lesbian and
gay heroines and heros should automatically receive the same beneifts as
heterosexual spouses or family members.

I ask that you use the power of your office to see that this un-American
discrimination ceases immediately, and the partners and families of lesbians
and gays who died September 11th are compensated.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
