Fair Distribution of the 9/11 Fund

Dear Mr. Zwick:

We have just heard that the partners of gay and lesbian heroes and victims of the September 11 attacks are to be denied their rightful benefits. This is absolutely unfair and discriminatory! How can this be justified in our enlightened society? These people are suffering emotionally and financially just as much as anyone else from the sudden, traumatic loss of their loved ones. They deserve to be helped and they most certainly should be helped.

Please see to it that the September 11 Victim Compensation Fund is distributed in a fair and ethical manner, without regard to victims' race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.
