Justice Departmet,
Please make sure that the families of gay and lesbian victims of the Sept.
11th bombing are included in the compensation plans. It would be unkind and
unfair not to include life time partners in the same plans as married spouses
of straight people. After all it is through no thought of their own that
gays and lesbians cannot marry and a gay and/or lesbian committed
relationship is just as valid ethically, emotionally as a heterosexual
spousal relationship. Make sure fairness rules and not bigotry. Thanks,
