Dear Mr. Zwick,

I am horrified to hear that the Justice Department is thinking of excluding the partners and children of gay men and lesbians who died in the September 11 attacks from receiving support from the "September 11 Victims Compensation Fund." That is sinking very, very low: in essence, to sudenly decide that one or another victim is more or less worthy than another. All were mercilessly killed as innocents. Their loved ones are mourning in equal measure. Those they lost paid taxes and supported this country and were its productive and law-abiding citizens. I am incredibly sad that such language would even be considered at a time like this. For shame.
