Friday, February 08, 2002 2:54 PM Other Victims--East African Bombings Dear DOJ Federal Counter-parts, As a Federal government employee and a victim of the East African Embassy Bombing in Nairobi, Kenya on 8/7/1998, I would like for the Dept of Justice and the U.S. Government to please include the American citizens that were killed or seriously injured in the attacks on our Embassies. Please note that the same terrorists group (Bin Laden and Al Qaeda) were responsible for the Embassy attacks on civilians, not armed combatants, and on American soil (the U.S. Embassy). I believe we should be included in this compensation package also and the package should be renamed -- or changed to reflect a more inclusionary name such as the September 11, 2001 and August 7, 1998 Compensation Package. We too are Americans that were hurt and killed, and to date, we have received NO compensation.
