I find this in extremely poor taste. You are acting in a manner that undermines the true spirit of the UNITED States. Instead, you are choosing to support the specific demographic that fits the model you deem appropriate for your image. This harkens back to a time when African Americans were considered second class citizens. Indeed, the idea of not supporting African American couples seems absurd. The idea of not supporting legal immigrants seems absurd. And yet, you are choosing to discriminate in a very powerful way. If you choose to follow through with this, there will be many Americans disappointed in your acts. Please reconsider what you are doing, and support gay and lesbian partners of those killed in the WTC. Their love is just as strong for their now diseased beloved as is their heterosexual counterparts.
