9/11 Victims Compensation Fund Coments

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to add my voice to the thousands of American, Tax Paying
Citizens who are outraged at your decision to EXCLUDE gays & lesbians from
the benefits of the Victim's Compensation Fund.
There have been few times in my nearly half century of life that I have been
more angry or more ashamed to call myself an American than I am at this
moment.
If the events of 9/11 have taught us anything it is that we are ALL
"victims" of this horiffic attack on our country and it infuriates me to
know that my tax dollars will go to "reward" people who were in this country
ILLEGALLY on 9/11 but will not go to help the domestic partners of those Gay
and Lesbian heroes of this horrible event.
Maybe it's about time that those of you in government actually start
LISTENING to what the people who put you there and pay your salaries have to
say about issues such as this!
As for "state law" I say "to hell with any law that excludes anyone from
receiving benefits from this fund that my tax dollars help to provide! A
victim is a victim, PERIOD!
