U.S. Dept. of Justice Dear Mr. Zwick, I am writing to the Department's request for public comments regarding the forthcoming reulations for implmenting and administering the "September 11 Victim Compensation Fund." I strongly urge the Department to draft regulations that ensure compensation is availabe to ALL victims of the attach, including the committed partners and the non-biological children of gay and lesbian victims. It is incomprehensible to me that the Department would consider otherwise. The devasting attack was on ALL U.S. citizens and those suffering the worst of these consquences should receive aid -- regardless of race, religion or lifestyle preference. I am not gay, but I believe in our constitution and equal rights for EVERYONE. There are many outstanding gay and lesbian citizens employed by our Government throughout this great nation and many, many more making great contributions of all natures to ALL people throughout the world. It is almost 2002. How could there even be a question about any of this? Thank you for your time and consideration.
