no comp for gay/lesbian
Is this correct? You are not going to allow compensation for gay/lesbian
couples? But you are going to give comp to illegal aliens?????
Look at this-- if you are basing this on state law, then NEITHER should get
compensation. On the other hand, the humane thing (I hesitate to say
Christian, not PC) to do would be to compensate both sectors.
Attitudes like yours are why we are still having gay/lesbian bashings,
murders, etc. I spent the weekend keeping track of my 4
grandchildren. Part of that time was spent watching "The Laramie Project"
with my 19 year old granddaughter. Both of us were appalled all over again
at this event.
This is one of the most overt, sanctioned discriminations in this
country. No, I am not lesbian, nor are any members of my family, although
I did work with several gay/lesbian people. They were just regular people,
trying to make a living in a hard world. Please do not make it any harder
for them.
