Our beloved husband/father was killed in the September 11th attacks while at work on the floor of Tower 2 ( ). It is unfair and unfortunate that survivor benefits (social security and worker's comp) as well as life insurance be deducted from this award. At the very least, no survivor benefits should be deducted. We do not know what ripple effects this tragedy will have on our children. At the very least their futures must be ensured financially, since emotionally there is no repair. Please act in the best interest of our children -- they are our future!!!!!
