Protest 9/11 Fund Exclusion of Gays

To whom it may concern,

I recently read that the benefits received from the
9/11 Fund are different for heterosexual partners of
victims than gay and lesbian partners. I am outraged
to hear that after all the pain we have been through
as a country, we are still inflicting pain on each
other. "Family" has many definitions and all families
affected by this horrible event should be supported
equally - regardless. It is incredibly sad to me that
one family's suffering is considered more just than
another's. The 9/11 Fund has the power to be part of
the healing of this country or perpetuate
discrimination and hate. I hope you choose to help
unite us.
