Thursday, November 08, 2001 2:06 PM It is difficult enough for people with a dire need to receive financial assistance, but for those of us who had the foresight to plan for the worst and have some life insurance do not qualify for anything. I have two very young children to raise, feed, clothe, provide health insurance for and hopefully send to college some day. I am outraged that because we were smart we are penalized for it. At some point I will be in dire straights. Why do I have to wait until then to receive financial help. American people gave this money to help the victims families and I am one of them!!!
