Politely Outraged
I am politely, outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who
died on September 11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits
as heterosexual spouses because some of those gay citizens fought or acted
bravely and died trying to help others, so they should at least be considered
as equals to illegal immigrates during considerations of benefits.
