Victim Compensation Fund
I think that families that are complaining about the amount of money they're
receiving for "compensation" should have their "compensation" voided.
They're fortunate that our government is even kind enough to offer financial
compensation to them. The government isn't responsible for the attack, so
why should the taxpayers shoulder the burden of "compensating" these people?
Millions, if not more, of dollars have already been raised for charitable
donations to these families, and yet we still have people like whining about how much money the government is going to give them.
Give me a break. Should the government start handing out money to every
family that loses a loved one in any kind of non natural cause? IE, police
chases, drunk drivers, bank robberies, accidental death. These people are
pathetic. They need to thank the government for its charity towards them and
helping them to mourn their loss. These people disgust me.
