To whom it may concern,

I have read about your intentions to discriminate against the Gay and Lesbian
Community when it comes to providing benefits to the surviving partners of
the people who lost their life during the 9/11 tragedies.

It saddens me to hear that you have not learned the most important lesson
from that experience. How quickly do you forget that we are all equal and
that it doesn't matter if you are white, Christian, black, gay, straight,
bisexual or whatever you might be, we all suffer, live and die the same way.

How can you possibly choose to discriminate and promote bigotry among
Americans and foreigners by your actions?

Please reconsider your stand. Let us not forget the lesson.
