9-11 Fund Discriminates Against


Discriminating against the gay victims of 9-11 is a detestable situation which
this government is letting happen.

One of the paramount responsibilities of the Federal Government is to protect
the civil rights of its minority citizens. Basing the decision of whether to
extend the same civil rights to a minority, on a poll or a vote of the majority
in a given community is wrong. Its a lesson we most recently learned again in
the 60s. If the Federal Government did not accept the mantel of responsibility
at that time, we'd still have the humiliating and degrading Jim Crowe laws on
the books.

Shame on the Bush Administration!
