Victim Compensation Fund Web

Dear Sir:

I am outraged that gay and lesbian partners of those who died on September
11 are not automatically going to receive the same benefits as heterosexual
spouses of those who perished that horrible day.
The Victim Compensation Fund Web site is for ALL Americans!
To exclude this group, the partners of gay and lesbian heroes of September
1, from always receiving the same benefits as the spouses of heterosexual
victims of the horrible terror attacks is a blatant INJUSTICE.
This arbitrary decision is especially egregious given the other decisions
related to the fund, such as compensating fetuses and illegal aliens. If
the issue is one of law (as I have heard it said) then the arbitrariness of
the decision is underscored by the fund's decision to overlook federal law
and NOT arrest and apply Federal law in expelling the families of illegal
aliens, nor punish American companies that hired so-called illegals in
violation of federal labor laws.
The message is crystal clear. It is all right to die for America if you are
Gay, but once again if you are Gay, you do not have the same rights or
PRIVLIDGES as a heterosexual American.

It is a sad day to be an American....

Respectfully,

Individual Comment
