We are all receiving death pensions which are payable for life OR until remarried. If we remarry we lose our death benefit. This settlement basically eliminates hard working government employees from receiving ANY settlement under this law when taking into consideration our lifelong pension and other government benefits. This forces us into legal action because we have NO options. There are no minimums for us. OUR PENSIONS were our future wages that we sacrificed for in our low paying jobs knowing that one day we will be rewarded. Our pensions are BONUSES not collateral source income. HELP US. How can the Government hurt their employees so harshly. The government murdered our spouses and now they are punishing us again.
