It was a tragic loss of life, the events of September 11th, but I do not believe it to be more tragic than someone killed in a homicide or by a drunk driver or the children killed in Columbine or any of the other schools. I do not believe the government should be compensating people for their loss of a loved one, my questions is simple, what's makes the September 11th victims more important than the other people killed every day in this country?
