RE: Victims Compensation Fund for 9/11 Terrorist Attacks
Dear Mr. Zwick:
I am glad that the people who lost loved ones on 9/11 will be compensated, but I am outraged that although even illegal aliens and fetuses have been deemed worthy of receiving compensation, that the surviving partners of gays and lesbians who died in the terrorist attacks on9/11 are being denied coverage.
We know that played a heroic role and died a hero's death on 9/11. Had it not been for his heroic actions and the actions of others aboard the plane crashed in Pennsylvania, that plane might have crashed into the White House or the Capital Building in Washington, DC, inflicting heavy casualties on the top elected officials in our land.
The denial of survivor benefits to the partners of the people like who died on 9.11 is an action unworthy of us as a nation, and it is an insult to his heroism as a brave and patriotic American.
I urge you to accord the same status and consideration that is being shown to the survivors of illegal aliens who died on 9/11 to the survivors of the patriotic, brave, loyal American citizens who happened to be gay or lesbian who died on 9/11.
Very truly yours,
Individual Comment
