To whom it may concern:
Such greedy people. In one sentence they say no amount of compensation
is worth their loved one's life, yet they argue over the exact amount
that they wish to be paid. If you want to sue someone, file a lawsuit
against Osama Bin Ladin. The citizens of the United States did not
murder your loved ones and neither did the government, yet you vent your
anger at the people who have tried to help you the most. Do you realize
that we all lose loved ones every day? What makes the people of New
York City so special that they feel they should receive some kind of
compensation for their loss? No one paid the victims of the Oklahoma
City tragedy, yet somehow they have managed to survive. My father-in-law
was murdered in cold blood on the streets of Dallas and our family
received no compensation. All his children had to struggle to gather
enough money to pay for his funeral. And I hear that you people are
complaining about getting less than a million dollars.....please. Stop
your whining and get on with your lives as best you can. If you didn't
have the foresight to plan for this kind of tragedy by PURCHASING life
insurance and contributing to a 401K plan, then you must start all over
like the rest of us must do.
Stop trying to forecast how much money your dead spouse would have made
for you over the span of his or her lifetime, because they might have
died next year at the hands of a drunk driver in an automobile accident
and you certainly wouldn't be getting a million dollars for
that............
signed,
Sick of the BS
P.S. The most stupid thing this government could ever do besides making
millionaires out of all you whiny New Yorkers is to pay to rebuild
Afghanistan!
